Maria
As a founding partner of Stilista, Maria sees style as an art, a science and an absolute necessity! Along with managing Stilista, Maria is also a Senior Fashion Stylist and a Style Educator for Stilista|Seminars. “I have to say that I am not a haute couture expert and although I enjoy the art of fashion as a hobby, my passion is real world style. Styling any body type, any lifestyle, both men and women and seeing how it impacts their life overall is really what makes me tick.” shares Maria. Maria is greatly inspired by her clients, her team and the infinite nature of fashion and style. To continue expanding her knowledge of fashion, beauty and style, Maria travels, reads style publications and enjoys meeting new people and seeking out their unique perspective. Maria’s personal look is a somewhat girly fusion of tailored pieces, vintage silhouettes (she’s never met a pencil skirt she didn’t like), accessories with mod influences, and lots of denim.
"After consulting with Maria, I feel much more put together, and it is much easier to get dressed in the morning. I also find that I am not wasting time or money on clothing purchases that are just not right for me..."(Gita)
Alexandra
Alexandra’s cosmopolitan (and somewhat nomadic) upbringing is evident in her fashion sense. A bona-fide city girl, Alexandra grew up in Boston, attended Parsons School of Design in New York, and spent a year abroad in Paris. In New York, she explored fashion off the beaten path by means of sample sales, emerging designer markets, and consignment stores. Paris was an abundance of vintage treasures and eclectic accessories; French style fueled Alexandra’s appreciation of classic, impeccably tailored pieces - and scarves or all shapes and sizes. Her appreciation of the finer things in life led her to La Petite Coquette, a legendary lingerie store in New York that specialized in bra fittings and carried an exclusive selection of European designers. She learned the value of the properly-fitting bra, and enjoyed outfitting her loyal clients in beautiful undergarments. Back in Boston, Alexandra took a 180-degree turn into menswear, working with JHilburn custom clothiers. In pursuit of garments that combine quality fabric with proper fit, comfort, and originality - she appreciates the old-school approach of having clothing tailored to the client. She enjoys an impeccable Balenciaga handbag, and understated unique jewelry pieces.

Kacy
Kacy is an English major who graduated from Bowdoin College in 2005. A lifelong fashion enthusiast and design buff following in the shoes of an artist mother, she honed her knowledge of decorative art history and material and textile design working in the curatorial department at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art and visiting museums across the United States and Europe. She currently works in Communications with a professional background spanning the education and public relations sectors, and also maintains a visual art, jewelry design, and graphic design portfolio. While always keeping on top of the latest developments, designers, and movements in the fashion world, Kacy is particularly interested in helping clients assemble professional wardrobes that are comfortable and stylish yet polished and dress code-friendly, and is well-versed in finding the right cuts, fits, and colors to enhance a range of body types. Kacy loves mixing vintage and modern; high and low; and can never resist a tailored jean paired with a romantic blouse and feminine flats.
"Kacy helped me try looks and styles that were not only fashionable and classic but flattering and suitable to my body type. She also took into consideration my personal preference of style while helping me think a little outside the box. Most importantly though, Kacy is very personable and a true pleasure to work with. She made the whole experience so much fun!" (Pamm)

Katie
Katie majored in Business Administration with concentrations in law and entrepreneurship and graduated from Boston University. While at Boston University, she studied abroad in Sydney, Australia where she interned in the buying department at David Jones, the leading high-end department store in Australia. Katie also currently works for J.Crew. Katie has a slight obsession with jewelry and thinks that no outfit is complete without a great necklace or a cocktail ring. Katie’s personal style is very menswear inspired with plenty of jewelry to add a feminine balance. She’s also always on the hunt for great vintage dresses in 50s style silhouettes.

Lindsay W.
Lindsay was born with fashion in her blood. Ever since she was a child, she spent countless hours shopping with her mother and finding stores off the beaten path so she did not look like anyone else at school. Lindsay studied Textile Engineering in college in addition to earning two Professional Degrees in Fashion Merchandising and Visual Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC and Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in LA respectively. After working in Los Angeles at a premiere Event Planning agency, Lindsay returned to her roots and moved back to Boston in order to open her own boutique, Whim, on Newbury Street, which she successfully ran for over three years. Lindsay has endless experience working with clients and attributes her success to being respectful and attentive to what each client is looking for and needs. She has a deep passion for styling and currently works for Anthropologie as a Merchandiser as well as a freelance stylist for large corporations producing and styling fashion shows. Her personal style ranges daily, but her style philosophy is to create a wardrobe on great classics. Less is more, spend on timeless classics and build on it with great unique items to keep a wardrobe fresh. A distressed and fitted cognac leather jacket is her "can't live without" item...it toughens up the sweetest of dresses and makes a jean and T-shirt outfit perfectly polished.

Carly
A trained educator, Carly has always loved helping others learn. Carly’s education at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, led her to a major in Family Social Science with a minor in Retail Merchandising (just because she had become so engaged by the fashion world!) Completing her Master’s in Education in 2007, she then packed her bags for a move to Boston. Spending the past five years in Boston has been a life changing experience. Carly began her teaching career at a local high school and for four years taught many amazing students the subjects of Fashion, Fashion II, Nutrition, and Child Development. Watching her students learn about the fashion world furthered her desires to be a part of it herself. Carly took on a second job as a stylist at a local store and soon decided to put teaching on hold to pursue styling full time. She had found her place, and has loved every single minute of helping women and men find themselves through clothing. Carly believes every person should love and feel great in the clothes they are wearing. A thrifty shopper herself, she believes in investing in high end basics, and jazzing them up with items from all price points. Comfort and practicality are also a huge part of her mentality, and she loves finding the perfect piece that can transition seamlessly from casual to work to a night out! Spending much of her free time sewing, Carly also has a great eye for well made garments, as well as a good understanding on tailoring and alteration techniques.
